This contract position offers the chance to work part-time, covering two half-days each week for the remainder of the school year. Situated near Amsterdam, NY, you’ll engage in meaningful interventions that help students achieve their greatest potential in the classroom and beyond.

You’ll work on a W-2 basis, collaborating within a supportive school environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an OT passionate about making a difference while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working in school settings with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
• Previous school-based OT experience is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct OT services as outlined in students’ IEPs
• Monitor progress and maintain clear documentation
• Consult with teachers and parents to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
