Job Responsibilities Lead a high-performing engineering team, elevating best practices in software architecture, code quality, and system design Drive the development and transformation of scalable, reliable backend systems supporting enterprise healthcare applications Collaborate with product management and QA partners to deliver complex initiatives from technical strategy through production deployment Mentor and coach engineering talent through code reviews, feedback, and professional development Remain hands‑on as a technical leader, contributing to reviews, debugging, and code when needed Advocate for engineering standards that improve reliability, performance, and maintainability of applications and infrastructure Steward improvements to development processes and foster a culture of craftsmanship and accountability Ensure compliance, data integrity, and system safety within regulated healthcare and justice environments Job Requirements 5–7+ years of hands‑on software development experience, including significant leadership of engineering teams (2+ years in people management) Proven experience architecting, building, and maintaining complex backend systems using C# and .NET frameworks Strong expertise in relational database design, optimization, and troubleshooting, including stored procedures and indexing Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, and experience deploying and maintaining distributed applications Demonstrated success leading engineering teams through technical transformation and process improvement Experience in delivery‑oriented environments (Agile or Kanban), supporting close partnership between product and engineering functions Track record as a mentor and coach, fostering technical growth and collaborative culture within teams Experience identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks using monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, New Relic) is highly desirable Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Bicep or Terraform is a strong plus Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular and Node.js, including component architecture, is advantageous Proven ability to operate in regulated, data‑sensitive fields requiring compliance, security, and reliability #J-18808-Ljbffr
