Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to outpatient thoracic surgery patients before and after procedures

- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per approved protocols
- Assist surgical teams with procedures, maintain aseptic technique, and ensure patient safety
- Perform accurate documentation in the electronic health record and coordinate postoperative care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on postoperative care, pain management, activity restrictions, and follow-up steps

Requirements
- Active RN license (as required by state regulations)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification with American Heart Association
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in outpatient surgical specialty care (thoracic surgery preferred)
- Ability to work across two Georgia locations with a travel assignment
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
