Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)Status: Part Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non-ExemptSummary of the Position: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is a non-traditional way of providing intense individualized mental health interventions and support services in a variety of community based settings to children/adolescents with psychiatric diagnoses and their families.These settings include, but are not limited to home, school, community settings (camp, daycare, etc).The BHT is supervised by a Qualified Mental Health Professional, participates as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team and implements specific treatment goals.Their goal is to implement sound clinical interventions and supportive services to enable children/adolescents to maintain and function to the best of their ability in the least restrictive setting.Position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.Availability: Flexible schedule, possible for up to 40 hours per week; may require non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends.Qualifications/Requirements:Must meet one of the following:High School Diploma or Equivalent and ability to completed 40+ hours of training ORMinimum of 2 years of experience of provision of behavioral health services ORBehavioral Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from accredited organization ORCertification as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT)Reimbursement based on education and experienceProficient using Microsoft Office and database systems; experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems is a plus.Must be extremely organizedPossess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be professional, flexible, and can to work independentlyBilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus but not required.Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.Benefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental Insurance403(b) Retirement Savings PlanPet InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Direct DepositCompetitive Weekly PayFlexible ScheduleYouth Advocate Programs, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment based on individual merit, skills, and qualifications, without regard to race, age, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, sex, military or veteran status, or disability or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where YAP operates.
