We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) who is passionate about long-term care and dedicated to leading our nursing team with integrity and excellence.

The Director of Nursing oversees all clinical operations within the facility and is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, strong regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership. This role requires an RN who can lead by example, promote a positive culture, and collaborate closely with all departments to support residents and staff.

• Lead and manage the nursing department, including RNs, LPNs, and STNAs

• Oversee resident care planning, assessments, and documentation

• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support facility goals

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives

• Support and mentor nursing staff; promote engagement and retention

• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

• Serve as a clinical resource and role model for excellent resident care

• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and staff

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting (required)

• Prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of regulatory standards and survey readiness

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
