Kurt Workholding also provides manufacturers custom engineered solutions to help them maximize efficiency and quality.The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling machine parts according to specifications.Shift/Hours: Mon-Friday 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.CompensationThe anticipated starting pay range for this position is $20.24 to $27.00. The exact rate may be based on a combination of factors, including knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.Essential FunctionsReads and follows blueprints, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts, partially or completely, in an accurate and timely fashion.Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using hand tools.May remove small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce fit between parts.May operate drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines or other mechanical devices to assist in assembly operation.May inspect and test assembly.Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
