Location: TelecommuteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $50 - 54 per hourA leading national omnichannel B2B retailer is seeking a Growth Content Manager to drive organic traffic, engagement, membership, and conversions. In this role, you will leverage content as a growth engine-combining human creativity with cutting-edge AI technology to produce high-performing long- and short-form content. You will also lead Agentic Engine Optimization (AEO) and traditional SEO strategies to ensure the brand dominates traditional and AI-powered search discovery.Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Execution: Plan, create, and manage quarterly B2B content calendars in collaboration with marketing, SEO/AEO, internal teams, and external agencies. AI & Workflow Optimization: Own AI prompting and workflows (using tools like ChatGPT and Gemini) to produce efficient, high-quality content; refine processes, templates, and governance while adding a vital human touch to align with brand voice. AEO & SEO Growth: Identify content opportunities based on search trends, customer insights, and citation opportunities to boost visibility in traditional search and AI discovery engines. Performance & Testing: Set clear goals to track traffic, leads, and conversion metrics; use a test-and-learn approach to continually optimize topics, messaging, and CTAs. CMS & Asset Management: Edit, update, and govern content within enterprise CMS platforms; source or generate on-brand imagery in collaboration with design teams. Qualifications: Experience: 5+ years in content management, including 3+ years in B2B e-commerce/digital environments and 3+ years working with creative agencies. Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, or a related field. Tech Savvy: Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) and AI LLMs (Gemini, ChatGPT, etc.). Data-Driven Mindset: Proven track record of setting content KPIs, analyzing performance data, and implementing continuous optimizations. Core Competencies: Strong initiative, comfortable operating autonomously in fast-paced/ambiguous environments, with a test-and-learn growth mindset.
