Service Project Manager

Overview Opportunity to join a leading global energy company as Service Project Manager. Hybrid in Raleigh, NC. You will be the driving force behind our customer support and project management efforts, working closely with Global Execution Centers, managing remote work crews, and ensuring our commitments to customers are met. Responsibilities Be the single point of contact for customers, taking full ownership of customer-related issues and driving them to completion. Work cohesively with Global Execution Centers to address site issues in a timely and efficient manner. Be accessible outside of regular working hours for issue resolution and response. Drive all activities on assigned projects/services and report status to management. Manage remote work crews and specialized engineers. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to company processes for project execution. Ensure company commitments to customers are met in accordance with the contract. Set customer expectations to ensure a smooth project, including acceptance of project deliveries and timely payment. Utilize Full Cost Calculation/Model to develop new opportunities while controlling current project costs and cash flows. Engage customers, suppliers, and internal finance to ensure timely and correct payments. Participate in negotiating project-specific terms and conditions with legal counsel. Report status/progress to the customer and others, raising potential project issues to relevant stakeholders early. Use negotiation skills for scope and change management to pursue additional revenue possibilities. Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies. Identify risks and mitigation alternatives associated with project activities, proactively pursuing a decided-upon mitigation approach. Work actively with Supply Chain Management to obtain and coordinate/direct project transportation and logistics. Review the status of critical suppliers' progress and include it in the overall schedule. Build wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization. Gain clear agreement and commitment from others by persuading, convincing, and negotiating; manage conflict. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 10 years in Project Management, Field Service, Project Engineering, or Customer Support. Proven accomplishments in critical thinking and issue resolution. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration. Knowledge of Project Management skills such as critical path and risk identification and mitigation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver quality results. Self-starter with a proactive approach to closing issues and leading teams.
