Clinical Registrar

Description Under the general direction and daily guidance of the Lead Tumor Registry, the Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) supports the Cancer Committee Chair, Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, and medical staff, assuming responsibility for multiple registry assignments related to the function of the Tumor Registry Department. Required Qualifications National Oncology Data Specialist – National Cancer Registrars Association upon hire. Minimum 2 years of Tumor Registry experience. Experience with Tumor Registry software. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements. Registered Health Information Technician – American Health Information Management Association upon hire. Certification note: Certified Tumor Registrar from National Cancer Registrars Association changed to Oncology Data Specialist on 01/01/2024.
