Description:

To function as a member of the administrative team and complete all daily tasks to ensure smooth day to day operations in busy practice.

Responsibilities:

• Answers, triages, and routes all incoming calls appropriately; takes messages, follows through with each message, ensuring that the appropriate staff member received the information.

• Provides routine information to callers and walk in patients by answering questions and addressing complaints.

• Checks, sorts and forwards emails appropriately.

• Sorts and distributes all mail and packages.

• Keeps updated records and files.

• Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year as a front office receptionist in a health care setting preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, telephone, and communication skills.

• Ability to learn and incorporate knowledge of office systems as well as policies and procedures.

• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
