What You'll Do As a BCBA, you'll provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across New Horizons in Autism programs, supporting individuals through comprehensive assessments, individualized treatment planning, consultation, staff training, and ongoing clinical oversight. You'll enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to meet the needs of your caseload while working in residential, community, day, and other service settings. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral and skill acquisition assessments, including: VB-MAPP FISH Essentials for Living AFLS Preference Assessments Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Functional Analyses (FAs). Develop individualized behavior support plans and skill acquisition programs. Design, implement, and evaluate data collection systems and evidence-based interventions. Analyze treatment data and modify programming based on client progress. Provide ongoing consultation, direct observation, coaching, and modeling for support staff. Conduct intake assessments for prospective individuals receiving services. Facilitate Natural Environment Teaching (NET) when appropriate. Train caregivers, stakeholders, and interdisciplinary team members in behavior support strategies. Complete clinical documentation, assessments, consultation notes, and billing documentation accurately and on time. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop coordinated, person-centered treatment plans. Lead staff trainings, in-services, and professional development opportunities. Develop supported employment programming when needed. Communicate regularly through email and participate in team meetings. Perform additional clinical duties as assigned. This role is ideal for a BCBA who enjoys mentoring others and helping build the next generation of clinicians. Responsibilities include: Supervise BCaBAs, RBTs, and individuals pursuing BCBA certification. Complete RBT competency assessments. Provide supervision in accordance with BACB requirements and NHIA Supervision Contracts. Support professional growth through coaching, feedback, and performance development. Assist in creating continuing education content that meets BACB ACE requirements. Represent the Clinical Team at agency and community events as requested. What You Bring Required Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely related field. Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB. Completed the BACB 8-hour Supervision Training and maintain eligibility to supervise. Minimum of 1 year of ABA experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, documentation, and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation with the ability to travel throughout New Jersey. Valid New Jersey driver's license and current automobile insurance. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain and maintain). Successful completion of criminal history, Department of Education, and Central Registry background checks.
