Role Overview This specific role is to assist in structuring, executing, and leading municipal commodity prepayment transactions. These financings combine extensive modeling with a need to be enmeshed in credit and interest rate markets creating a unique opportunity to collaborate across many different financial verticals to benefit municipalities. Importantly, this is an opportunity set where folks can advance quickly as it is one of the fastest growing sectors in the municipal market. Responsibilities Lead deal processes guiding analyst and associate colleagues and maintain client relationships. Drive deal execution, including bond and credit structuring analysis, strategy development, rating agency presentations, credit enhancement assessment, legal and offering document review, and pricing alternative analysis. Create and analyze financial models and perform scenario analyses to evaluate alternative effects. Organize and prepare presentations on industry trends, client options, and strategy recommendations. Participate in and conduct due diligence sessions. Lead analytic processes and manage analysts and associates while driving business development. Basic Qualifications Strong academic record with a bachelor’s degree or higher. More than four years of experience in project finance and/or the sports sector, ideally with investment banking, financial services, or accounting. Experience conducting business, financial and legal due diligence; preparing marketing materials, RFPs and structuring transactions. Drive, enthusiasm, creativity and excellent stakeholder/client relationship management experience. Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities. Strong analytical background with experience working with large and complex data sets. Ability to lead banking and advisory analytic processes and manage analysts and associates. Strong communication (verbal and written), multi‑tasking and time‑management skills. Must be a collaborative team player. Preferred Qualifications Experience with debt structuring and capital markets execution. Experience with client coverage and execution of M&A or other advisory transactions. Exposure to corporate finance and valuation analyses including DCF, LBO, merger consequences, WACC, etc. Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States‑based position is $150,000–$300,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year‑end.
