Overview
Registered Nurse – Psychiatry (Geropsychiatric Unit) travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Start date: 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Weekly pay: $2,155–$2,259. Shift: Days (7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.), 3x12-hour shifts on a geropsychiatric unit in an inpatient setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care on a geropsychiatric unit, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of symptoms and changes in patient condition
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories; perform mental and physical assessments
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse reactions
- Assist patients with activities of daily living and observe responses to interventions
- Lead and participate in therapeutic milieu activities, daily groups, education, and 1:1 sessions; collaborate with the treatment team
- Develop individualized treatment plans upon admission and update them with the multidisciplinary team; coordinate discharge planning
- Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care activities; complete required documentation (admissions, assessments, progress notes) in a timely manner
- Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements
- License: Valid State of New Hampshire RN license
- Certification: BLS certification required
- Education: 2-year associate degree or diploma from a nursing program required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: 1 year nursing experience preferred
- Certifications/Skills: Medical terminology knowledge; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a geropsychiatric/mental health inpatient setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
