Position Overview

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking a motivated and compassionate Orthopedic Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the exceptional orthopedic team at Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, New York . This is an outstanding opportunity for a provider looking to build or expand a career in orthopedic medicine while working alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

In this role, you will evaluate patients, assist in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions, develop treatment plans, provide pre- and post-operative care, and support orthopedic procedures. Offering a competitive salary of $115,000 – $135,000 annually , this position is ideal for both new graduates and early-career providers eager to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful impact on patients' mobility and quality of life.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NCCPA for PAs).
• Valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Less than one (1) year of clinical experience required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Clinical rotation or previous experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, emergency medicine, or surgical services.
• Experience performing joint injections, splinting, casting, or other orthopedic procedures.
• Familiarity with musculoskeletal assessments and orthopedic treatment plans.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered orthopedic care.
