Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a School Psychologist at a welcoming district near York, PA. Make a positive difference for learners across two schools, with a manageable caseload of 25+ students. You'll engage deeply with students, teachers, and families to foster a supportive educational environment.
Position Overview:
- Contract assignment starting as soon as possible, continuing through June 4, 2027
- Serve at a single location supporting grades in the middle and high school age range
- 30 hours per week, ensuring a flexible yet consistent schedule
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience within school settings, preferably at middle and/or high school level
- Strong skills in assessment, counseling, consultation, and intervention development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or social/emotional concerns
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
- Consult with educators and families to develop effective interventions and strategies
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture through advocacy and collaboration
