Shreveport , LA Newly Created Position Full-Time , Day , 7A-7P Posted 09/04/2026 We’re opening the doors to a brand-new Medical-Surgical unit at Willis Knighton Bossier, and we’re looking for passionate nurse tech ready to help build something special from the ground up! We are looking for an energetic, caring, and hard-working individual for our 25-bed med-surg unit.This is a 12-hour, 0645–1915-day shift position with a rotating pattern, off every other weekend. Job duties include, but are not limited to taking vital signs, assisting patients with personal care, turning & repositioning, transporting, and answering call lights. You must be able to prioritize job assignments and be a self-starter when you are working in this unit. This position is not the same as a medical assistant. An applicant with a prior history of working in an acute care setting is preferred but not mandatory.
