As a Security Officer - Overnight Residential Driving Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support residents and guests while representing our agile, reliable, and innovative team with integrity and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and community access practices to help support authorized access and report suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift documentation related to security-related activities, observations, and/or interactions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
