Mt. Grant General Hospital is accepting applications for the position of Maintenance Assistant. The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for executing work under the direction of the Director of Facilities to ensure maintenance and repairs of facility are maintained appropriately and to assure all equipment and systems function properly and safely. Applicants must have knowledge of building maintenance techniques and equipment operation in a hospital setting including of emergency generator, auto transfer switch, boilers, plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical system, sanitation, water systems and understand codes and regulations. Maintenance assistants are responsible for driving in the Transportation Department as needed for patient care and community needs. The position is required to work call on nights and weekends.
