Crew Leader / Foreman (Team Captain) wanted for our mold remediation and crawl space crew in Springfield, MO. $50,000 to start. $60,000+ in your first year if you perform. This is not a clock-in, clock-out job. We run like a professional sports team: every player is hired at a skilled to elite level, results are tracked on every job, and the best people earn the roster spots, the raises, and the promotions. THE ROLE You run the job site and lead a crew of skilled pros from setup to final walkthrough. You work alongside them, in the crawl space, every day. You follow company processes exactly, hit time standards, and finish every job safe and clean. You set the pace and make good players better. HOW YOU GET PAID - $50,000 per year to start (about $24/hr), clocked through our pay app - Every job has a set labor budget, the same percentage on every job - Finish under budget and you keep the leftover balance, plus a performance bonus - First-year potential: $60,000+ - Our priorities, in order: 1) Safety, 2) Customer satisfaction, 3) Efficiency. Speed never beats safety or quality. - Top performers get paid more and move up first WHAT YOU'LL DO - Lead and work side by side with your crew on mold remediation, crawl space encapsulation, vapor barrier, insulation, drainage, and moisture control - Execute company processes on every job, exactly as trained - Coach skilled teammates to sharpen technique and raise pace without sacrificing quality - Hold the crew to company processes and time standards - Help interview candidates and decide who makes the team - Give direct, honest feedback on crew performance - Run job-site setup, containment, and cleanup - Communicate professionally with homeowners and the office - Keep tools, equipment, and vehicles organized THE PHYSICAL REALITY This is hard, dirty, physical work, and we want you to know that before you apply. Most days you will: - Crawl, kneel, and work on your back in tight crawl spaces (18 inches or less) - Lift and carry 50+ lbs repeatedly - Work in heat, cold, damp, dusty, and confined conditions - Wear a respirator, protective suit, and gloves for long stretches - Climb ladders and work overhead - Work a full 8-10 hour shift WHO WINS HERE - You have 3+ years in construction, remediation, restoration, or a similar trade (crawl space or mold experience strongly preferred) - You've been one of the hardest workers on every crew you've been on - You lead by doing, then coach others to match you - You follow the process and hold yourself and others to it - You want to be measured by results and time standards - Clean driving record; able to pass a background check and drug screen - Willing to be respirator fit-tested A PLUS - IICRC certifications: AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation), WRT (Water Damage Restoration), or ASD (Applied Structural Drying) - Experience leading or coaching a crew WHAT WE OFFER - Paid training and certification support - A clear path up: Team Captain, B Team Captain, Crew Supervisor - All PPE and tools provided - [Health insurance, PTO, etc.] TO APPLY Send your resume and answer this: tell us about the hardest job you've worked and how you led or coached others through it.
