This position is ideal for candidates who are looking to gain experience in a behavioral health field or for individuals with a passion for serving others. Direct Support Professional (DSP) Requirements DSP certified or the ability to become certified through our paid training At least 18 years of age Transportation to your shifts Lift 50 lbs Pass a criminal background check Direct Support Professional (DSP) Duties Assist individuals with personal care needs – all ADL’s Assisting with all household task, meal preparation cooking and cleaning; maintain a safe and healthy home environment that encourage learning. Monitor individuals and engage in redirection. Document individual’s activities, concerns and progress notes as required. Participate in and out-of-home activities which may include driving company vehicles. Provide an Abuse and Neglect free environment at all times.
