Electrical Design Engineer

Stryker's Electrical Design Engineer role involves designing and developing electrical circuits and subsystems for medical devices used in acute care settings. The position spans the full product development lifecycle, from research through launch, with focus on patient handling and care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical circuits and subsystems for medical devices
• Conduct circuit testing, prototype building, and bench validation activities
• Review and modify C/C++ code to optimize product functionality and performance
• Analyze designs for electromagnetic compatibility, reliability, safety, and manufacturability
• Support manufacturing collaboration, field investigations, and customer site visits

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Intermediate-level circuit design knowledge in analog and digital systems
• Programming proficiency in C/C++ or Python
• Experience with LTSpice or equivalent simulation tools
• Hands-on lab skills with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies
• Schematic capture and PCB layout software experience (preferred)
• Microcontroller circuit design experience (preferred)

Compensation: $69,500 - $110,900 USD Annual
