Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers and staff on reimbursement processes, claims procedures, and coding requirements
- Spend up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers assessing education needs
- Serve as reimbursement and access expert for field sales and account management teams
- Proactively identify and resolve patient access and affordability barriers using data analysis
- Maintain current knowledge of national, regional, and local market dynamics affecting coverage and access
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or public administration; MBA or MPH preferred
- Minimum 5 years of account management or reimbursement experience in provider settings
- Deep knowledge of medication access channels including pharmacy and medical benefits
- Ability to analyze complex quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong understanding of payer landscape across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans
- Critical thinking skills and intellectual curiosity
- Knowledge of healthcare coding, claims submission, and coverage requirements
