Job Title: Clinical Care Technician Location: Morris Cancer Center (RWJBarnabas Health, 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901) Department: Oncology Unit – MCC-9 Facility: RWJ New Brunswick Shift: Day (7a-3:30p) Status: Part‑Time Pay Range: $20.11 – $28.67 per hour Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health seeks a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for our Oncology Unit-9 in Morris Cancer Center, New Brunswick. Video Link: Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association. Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified nursing assistant credential. Scheduling Requirements Day shift, 16 hours per week (2 shifts per week), every other weekend and some holidays. Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, bedside care, bathing, mouth care, and skin care. Provide patient care appropriate to age of patients in assigned service based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria. Ensure effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Maintain ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient’s care. Participate in collaboration of patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
