The purpose of the role is to use Citi's data assets to analyze information and create actionable intelligence for our business leaders. In this role, you will serve as a key Data Science and Analytics partner, leveraging deep statistical expertise to drive impactful business strategy and decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business goals, develop and translate complex analytical results into clear, compelling stories, and deliver recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. You will build, validate, and maintain predictive models to forecast performance metrics, customer behavior, and operational trends. You will also be responsible for developing data pipelines and repeatable analytical workflows that support scalable insights and automation across multiple business functions and international borders. Frequently involved in matters that require solutions based on complex, analytical thoughtQualifications:6+ years of demonstrated experience in Data Science, Analytics, or related field with a history of successfully delivering complex projects5+ years of experience in Python, advanced SQL, data pipeline and data modeling, visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.), building data roadmaps and strategies, and serving executives with data/reports/insights for strategic decision makingBS in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Math preferredPrior experience in banking industry or financial services sector is highly desirableExperience with databases and coding languages (SQL, SAS, Python, R, etc.)Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate business requirement into technical solutions or opportunitiesDetail oriented with good organization and presentation skillsAbility to interact with all levels, including senior management, as a business partner with good verbal and written skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment, to be able to prioritize work, set goals and complete work by designated deadlinesAbility to build alliances, influence and negotiate to drive decisions; Positions oneself to be a partner to drive results along with key stakeholders and decision makers.
