Senior Structural Designer

Job Title: Senior Structural Designer Location: Downtown Houston Office Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (in person) JOB SUMMARY: Novetus Engineering LLC is looking to fill a position as Senior Structural Designer. RESPONSIBLITES: Develop structural designs and support the detailed 3D models for modular components of a large‑scale LNG facility, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards. Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate structural requirements into the overall module layout using advanced 3D modeling software. Review, update, and maintain model accuracy throughout the design lifecycle, resolving clashes and ensuring constructability within modular fabrication constraints. Prepare and deliver structural drawings, material takeoffs, and design documentation derived from the 3D model to support procurement, fabrication, and construction activities. Participate in design reviews, provide technical input, and support continuous improvement of modeling workflows, standards, and coordination processes across the project. REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of experience in Structural Design Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
