Freedom Boat Club - Seasonal Boatcierge at Mt. Pleasant, SC (May through October)

Position Overview As part of the talented Freedom Boat Club team, you will be working by the water with our large variety fleet of boats, as a customer‑focused team member. Freedom Boat Club is the nation’s oldest and largest private member boat club, and we are looking for friendly and upbeat individuals to greet members and work on the docks. This position is part‑time and requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests’ service needs. Thank guests with genuine appreciation. Make and answer telephone calls using appropriate etiquette. Navigate the reservation system via handheld tablet. Complete daily clerical work, including reservation system updates, fuel logs, and weather reports. Familiarize yourself with local waters to provide basic guidance to members. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support the team to reach common goals. Ensure your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional. Follow all company policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Work outside in the state’s elements and stand for an extended period of time. Required Qualifications Pass a background check and drug screen. Be at least 18 years of age. Ability to read and manipulate handheld tablets and communicate via phone. Availability to work regularly weekdays, weekends and holidays. Ability to adhere to all safety policies. Preferred Qualifications Experience in or around boats. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to maintain a calm, positive attitude during periods of high activity. Positive, cooperative attitude with the capability of working unsupervised. Working Conditions Work outdoors in various weather conditions for an extended period of time. Work in a marina setting on docks that may be fixed or floating. Work near and on the water. Benefits The anticipated pay for this position is $15 hourly .
