CRL Customer Relation Liaison

Job Summary This role maintains relationships and contacts with current accounts/patients and ensures they have the required equipment to support their home healthcare needs. Hourly range: $25 – $27/hour, variable based on experience, skills, education, and location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as a single point of contact for specific account(s). Respond to customer needs, concerns, and complaints promptly. Consult with clients and referral sources on products and necessary equipment. Obtain all documentation for scanning, batching at the Branch. Manage all follow‑up functions after set‑up of account. Oversee all transactions from specific account(s), including all referral sources. Obtain necessary documentation for orders, service scheduling and billing/payment. Contact patients to confirm orders and communicate financial obligations before referral for delivery/service scheduling. Assess patient needs and promote company products/services at office visits, as appropriate. Proactively resolve issues by anticipating problems and coordinating appropriate solutions. Troubleshoot issues that may arise with medical groups or on‑site departments. Assist medical and provider groups in understanding the products and services under contract. Assist in utilization process and transition members related to capitation switch‑outs. Coordinate patient services with physicians and medical groups. Identify and develop strategic relationships within the institution to enhance patient care. Participate in quality assurance/performance improvement initiatives as requested. Follow up on authorizations and maintain reimbursement of products/services. Follow up on CMNs, renewal CMNs, and prescriptions. Instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other services per training and state licensure limits. Respond to emergency calls and related needs during business hours and on an on‑call basis. Coordinate timely discharges with Customer Care Center and/or Branch Customer Service Team. Operate a Personally Owned Vehicle (POV) in accordance with job functions. Set up and deliver home healthcare products and services. Perform other duties as required. Minimum Required Qualifications High School diploma (minimum). At least 2 years of related experience. Minimum age 21 at time of hire. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain solid working relationships with internal and external customers. Learn and comply with all POV requirements. Participate and successfully complete ongoing training and development. Geographically located within assigned territory. Valid driver’s license (must possess and maintain). Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Business acumen. Problem‑solving/analysis. Communication proficiency. Personal effectiveness/credibility. Basic computer skills: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, Word. Language: English (reading, writing, verbal). Basic mathematical proficiency, understanding and developing spreadsheet data. Physical Demands Employees use hands to handle objects, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, or hear. Use computer and telephone equipment, write, read, and manipulate documents. Maintain a valid driver’s license and safely operate a motor vehicle. Must lift up to 25 pounds routinely and 40 pounds occasionally. Work Environment Low to moderate noise. Exposure to dust, fumes, mists, and odors is moderate. Temperature ranges from usual indoor climates to various outdoor conditions depending on location. Requires inspection and safe operation of a motor vehicle under varying weather and traffic. May require vaccinations and personal protective equipment.
