Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/27/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Location Olathe, KS Position Details Unit: Telemetry (TEL) Unit 4N Cardiac Start Date: 9/14 Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts; 1900-0730, three days per week Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday from each group (Thanksgiving Eve or Day, Christmas Eve or Day, New Year’s Eve or Day) Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience Experience with TR Bands directly after procedures Familiarity with cardiac drips, including Heparin, Lasix, and Cardizem Knowledge of Tikosyn and Sotalol initiation processes Preferred Experience 2-5 years of telemetry experience Licensure and Certification Current Kansas RN license BLS certification Floating Requirements Will float to all acute care units as needed. Orientation and Training Orientation will include: First 2 days of orientation at the main training site. Days 3-4 at Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training. Day 5 will include virtual training for the current EMR system. Additional Notes Facility is nicotine-free. Credentialing includes completion of CBC, drug screen, and lab work within 72 hours of offer acceptance. Current EMR in use is EPIC.
