Bilingual Customer Service Specialist (Spanish)

Customer Service Specialist Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend the right solutions, and promptly resolve any customer concerns to ensure maximum client satisfaction. They maintain product quality standards and support store sales goals. Location: Store #703585, 277 NE 223rd Ave., Gresham, OR 97030. Type: Full‑time. Pay: $18.50 per hour. The company requires a criminal background check due to the nature of customer interactions, including potential contact with minors and access to cash and payment methods. Responsibilities Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service. Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services. Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers. Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures. Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. Maintain precise work order files and formulas. Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse. Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications. Stock shelves and set up displays. Clean store equipment. Load/unload delivery trucks. Assist in making deliveries, as needed. Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas. Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options. Comply with inventory control procedures. Suggest ways to improve sales. Minimum Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship. Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in English. Proficient in reading, writing, comprehending, and communicating in Spanish. Valid, unrestricted driver’s license. Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion. Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends. For internal Sherwin‑Williams employees: received at least a “meets expectations” rating on the most recent performance appraisal. For internal Sherwin‑Williams employees: completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position. Experience selling paint and paint‑related products. Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
