As a Security Officer supporting a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to residents and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Pre-Employment Requirement: Valid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123) What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community grounds, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report unusual activity, property concerns, maintenance hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while providing a courteous presence throughout the residential location. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
