Duties

A Machine Operator is responsible for operating the flow wrapping machinery, which is used to package products in a continuous motion. The job typically involves the following duties:

• Setting up and adjusting the flow wrapper machine to ensure proper packaging of products.
• Monitoring the machine during operation to detect any malfunctions or deviations from standard performance.
• Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to maintain its efficiency and longevity.
• Loading materials onto the machine and ensuring a continuous supply for uninterrupted operation.
• Inspecting the quality of the packaged products and making adjustments as necessary to meet quality standards.
• Recording production data, such as quantities, types, and dimensions of materials produced.
• Collaborating with other team members to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.

Position Requirements

No high school diploma required. Ability to read and write English. Computer Skills. Ability to work the assigned shift schedule. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working in a cold environment of approximately 40 degrees. Comfortable standing for 8 hours a day. Observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). 2+ years of Machine Operator experience. Background Check, Stand for Shift Duration, Must be at least 18 years old, No Drug Test Required. Able to Lift 40 pounds. No Education Requirement.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $18.50 - $19.50 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
