Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Data Coordinator to support an Engineering team at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant. This position will collect, organize, track, and distribute information from multiple sources to support engineering projects, launch activities, and leadership reporting.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel, PowerPoint, organizational, and communication skills . Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required , and the team is open to considering junior or entry-level candidates with strong foundational skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and consolidate data from multiple stakeholders and sources.
• Monitor, track, and communicate project and engineering changes.
• Create and maintain Excel reports, spreadsheets, charts, and other reporting tools.
• Prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for leadership and executive management.
• Collect project status updates and consolidate information into weekly leadership reports.
• Support launch-related reporting and communication activities.
• Coordinate and follow up on change management activities.
• Create and manage project deliverables and master plans.
• Track execution status and communicate progress, issues, and results.
• Maintain Book of Evidence documentation and project records.
• Document and distribute Lessons Learned.
• Update summary boards and related content.
• Ensure project data is accurate, organized, and communicated on time.
• Serve as a central liaison between engineering team members and other stakeholders.
• Support and coordinate Steering Committee meetings involving approximately 20–30 stakeholders .
• Assist with communication between plant management, engineering teams, and company leadership.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help implement process improvements.

 

Required Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint .
• Ability to consolidate, analyze, and clearly present data.
• Comfortable working in an on-site manufacturing/engineering environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or other data analysis/reporting tools.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
• Experience supporting engineering or launch programs.
• Experience coordinating meetings or Steering Committees.
• Knowledge of change management processes.
• Experience creating dashboards, charts, or other visual reporting tools.
• Project coordination or documentation experience.

 

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data and multiple stakeholders . Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are especially important.

This role can be a strong fit for an entry-level or junior professional who has excellent technical and organizational fundamentals and wants to gain experience supporting engineering and manufacturing projects.
