Eurofins PSS seeks a formulation chemistry scientist to support early-stage drug development at a Cambridge, MA client site. The role involves physicochemical characterization of small molecule candidates, formulation development for preclinical studies, and in vitro dissolution and stability assessments. Full-time, onsite presence required five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Predict and experimentally evaluate physicochemical properties of small molecule drug candidates
- Develop and evaluate formulations for preclinical studies across multiple routes of administration
- Conduct dissolution, precipitation, and flux studies under biorelevant conditions
- Support laboratory experiments for pharmaceutics and biopharmaceutics research efforts
Requirements
- MS with 2–4 years or BS with 3–6 years in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutics, or related field
- Hands-on experience characterizing physicochemical properties of small molecule drug candidates
- Practical experience operating and troubleshooting HPLC systems for compound analysis
- Prior work in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or drug discovery R&D environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in laboratory settings
- Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
Compensation: $32–36/hr
