Job Description
### Join Our Dynamic Surgical Team as an OR Surgical Tech!

Job Description:
• Position: OR Surg Tech
• Location: Joplin, MO
• Unit: OR Complex
• Shifts: 3x12 Days
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: As required by the facility
• Call Requirements: As required by the facility, typically one call per pay period and one weekend per month

Position Information:
• Role: Surgical Tech
• Specialty: Operating Room
• Openings: 1
• Required Licensure: Current RN License in Missouri
• Required Certifications: BLS from AHA only
• Preferred Certifications: CORST
• Experience: 2+ years in the OR
• Float Requirements: As required by the facility
• Patient Ratios: 1:2, estimates not guarantees

Unit Information:
• Operating Rooms: 11
• Equipment: Stryker
• EMR System: EPIC

Ideal Candidate:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years in the OR
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
• Type of Patients: Surgery - Operating Room
• Personality Fit: Collaborative and driven

Dress Code:
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue (Supplied)
• Unacceptable Attire: N/A

About the Role:
• Work under the supervision of physicians/RN and report to the Director/Manager
• Coordinate all supplies and instrumentation for surgical procedures
• Ensure decontamination of instruments/supplies in the OR area
• Assist RN with patient care planning, interventions, and outcomes
