• Shift: Nights, 2 on/3 off (2x3 nights)

• Setting: Hospital-based PCU/IMCU unit with a cardiac patient population (28 beds)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults in a PCU/IMCU with cardiac conditions, including STEMI and NSTEMI patients
• Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry, and respond to arrhythmias and deteriorating conditions
• Administer prescribed medications, including cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine) and vasopressors, with appropriate monitoring
• Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams; document care plans and progress in the medical record
• Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to protocols; participate in shift handoffs and care coordination
• Assess and educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and recovery expectations

Requirements

• Active registered nurse license in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience in a facility of similar size
• Documented PCU experience in work history
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity PCU/IMCU setting
• Comfortable caring for cardiac patients and managing telemetry in a 28-bed unit
