Human Resources Employee Partner (Onsite)

Position: Human Resources Employee Partner – East Hartford, CT (Onsite). U.S. citizenship is required due to government contracts. Security clearance: None required. What You Will Do This person will join a team of HR Employee Partners supporting over 1,900 employees comprised of union production maintenance employees and nonunion salaried employees located at our East Hartford, CT operations facility. We are seeking a high‑energy, self‑starter to drive key human resources initiatives and promote an inspiring culture that includes both exempt and non‑exempt employees. Responsibilities Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and achieve results. Effectively execute Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development. Administer the collective bargaining agreement as it applies to the assigned employee population. Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives. Conduct investigations and process grievances. Support the collective bargaining process. Address HR‑related inquiries from all levels of employees. Coach managers and employees, helping them become the best they can be. Participate in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs. Support recruiting and retention strategy, efforts, and programs. Leverage process improvement / lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs. Lead and support special projects as assigned. Qualifications – Must Have A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. U.S. citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field. Proven track record of leading change. Experience with administration of a collective bargaining agreement and its grievance procedure. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Proven customer‑focused experience and excellent business judgment. Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities. High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information. Strong analytical and systems skills. Successful management of multiple, often conflicting priorities while maintaining positive relationships with customers. Dynamic problem solver with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to craft creative solutions to everyday challenges. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. Salary is a good‑faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX may provide benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits may vary by business unit or collective‑bargaining agreement. Eligible employees may also receive annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs.
