Human Resources Employee Partner (Onsite)

Job Overview We have a great opportunity to hire a talented onsite Human Resources Employee Partner in East Hartford, CT! This role will join a team of HR Employee Partners supporting over 1,900 employees comprising union production maintenance employees and nonunion salaried staff located at our East Hartford operations facility. Responsibilities Partner with leadership to communicate and implement HR programs that support the business goals and get results. Effectively execute Human Resources processes including performance management, salary planning, staffing and retention, employee relations, and development. Administer the collective bargaining agreement as it applies to the assigned employee population. Establish and maintain productive relationships with union representatives. Conduct investigations and process grievances. Support the collective bargaining process. Address HR‑related inquiries from all levels of employees. Coach managers and employees to help them become the best they can be. Participate in succession planning processes and programs focused on current and future organizational needs. Support recruiting and retention strategy, efforts and programs. Leverage process‑improvement/lean manufacturing tools and methodology to align with business needs. Lead and support special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology or a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. US citizenship required. Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field. A proven track record of leading change. Experience with administration of a collective bargaining agreement and its grievance procedure. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven customer‑focused experience and strong business judgment. Ability to influence without direct supervisory responsibilities. High degree of professional maturity and integrity in handling confidential information. Strong analytical and system skills. Successfully managing multiple, often conflicting priorities while maintaining positive relationships with customers. Dynamic problem solving with creative solutions to everyday challenges. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. Potential benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive compensation depending on role and collective bargaining agreement.
