Lead Social Media Manager

We're looking for a creative, strategic, highly organized, and experienced Lead Social Media Manager to join our team!

This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced marketing agency environment, enjoys working with multiple brands, and has the confidence and experience to lead a social media team.

You'll manage your own portfolio of client accounts while overseeing and supporting two Social Media Managers and helping lead the operations, organization, and performance of our social media department.

We're looking for someone who can balance creative execution with leadership, confidently manage client relationships, develop engaging content, lead content shoots, and ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality work.

What You'll Do

Client Account Management & Content Creation

• Manage multiple client social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

• Develop and execute monthly content calendars and social media strategies for different brands.
\n
• Plan, coordinate, and lead on-site client content shoots.
\n
• Capture and edit engaging short-form video content, including Reels and TikToks.
\n
• Write creative captions and develop content concepts aligned with client goals.
\n
• Communicate directly with clients regarding content planning, approvals, feedback, and updates.
\n
• Monitor social media performance, review analytics, and identify opportunities for improvement.
\n
• Ensure client content is completed, approved, and published on schedule.
\n

Team Leadership & Department Oversight

• Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to two Social Media Managers.
\n
• Oversee department content calendars, deadlines, deliverables, and workflows to ensure all accounts stay on track.
\n
• Review team content and provide creative direction, feedback, and quality control.
\n
• Help develop and improve social media strategies across client accounts.
\n
• Support team members with content planning, client communication, and problem-solving.
\n
• Monitor team workloads, priorities, and productivity to ensure deadlines are met.
\n
• Coordinate and oversee client content shoots, ensuring proper planning and execution.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve department processes, organization, and efficiency.
\n
• Serve as a point of leadership for the team, helping resolve challenges and keep projects moving forward.
\n
• Collaborate with account management, creative, and leadership teams to execute client campaigns.
\n
• Take ownership of daily department operations while managing your own client accounts.
\n

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working at a marketing or social media agency managing multiple client accounts is required.
\n
• Minimum 2 years of professional social media management experience; previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts, team responsibilities, and competing deadlines.
\n
• Strong experience with social media strategy, content planning, creation, and execution.
\n
• Hands-on experience planning and conducting client content shoots.
\n
• Proficiency in short-form video editing using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
\n
• Experience communicating directly with clients and managing content approvals and feedback.
\n
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and current social media trends.
\n
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and hold team members accountable.
\n
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Ability to take initiative, make decisions, and manage individual and team priorities.
\n
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple clients and deadlines.
\n

Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
