Senior Associate, Business Analyst - Marketing, COBT

Capital One Business Travel (COBT) is part of the Premium Products and Experiences (PPX) team and is looking for a Marketing Senior Analyst to support building and delivering a performance‑driven marketing strategy. Role Specific Responsibilities Channel Performance Analytics: assess ROI of different channels and develop perspectives on COBT’s GTM strategy across channels Triggered Messaging Campaign: build triggered messaging campaigns and holistic strategy across different customer journeys and segments Content Strategy: partner closely with COBT Marketing teams to refine positioning and customer‑facing claims Marketing Execution: support COBT marketing partners in execution and performance analysis of specific campaigns Customer Segmentation & Analytics: build out specific segments to identify targeted treatment opportunities Customer Needs: partner with the insights team to understand the target audience, validate product positioning and messaging, and act as the voice of both the customer and Capital One Business Travel to the organization Relationship Management: serve as the lead point of contact for Card, Field, and Marketing teams to champion marketing goals and increase product usage External Analysis: understand how competitors are evolving their product and messaging strategies and build strategies that position us for success in the market Event Strategy: partner with the Sponsorships team to develop and execute a high‑impact conference and industry event strategy Here’s what you’ll need to be successful High level of initiative and ownership, ability to coordinate efforts across diverse functional groups Ability to self‑direct and task‑switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly Succinct, focused written and verbal communication skills Marketing analytics practitioner and problem solver who uses data and storytelling to influence decisions and deliver actionable recommendations for customer engagement and product marketing opportunities Data‑driven decision making: high comfort with data analysis in SQL and curiosity to understand the “why” behind the data Collaboration & influence: ability to productively partner with a wide variety of teams across the organization to advance goals and connect marketing activities to underlying business strategy Results‑oriented: focus on driving impact in both the short and long term, and ability to drive and execute an agenda end‑to‑end from conception through to in‑market delivery in an uncertain and fluid environment Team player: helps achieve more than the sum of parts by collaborating effectively with others and encouraging an inclusive culture Creative thinking & creativity: able to think outside the box for creative development and marketing strategy Customer obsession: consistent customer‑first thinking, always seeking to understand the customer through available data with a bias toward action on improving their experience Basic Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis Degree requirements: Bachelor's or Master's in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Business or a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering 1+ years of experience in statistical model building 1+ years of experience in market research

The minimum and maximum full‑time annual salaries for this role are: McLean, VA – $111,200 – $126,900; New York, NY – $121,300 – $138,400; Richmond, VA – $101,100 – $115,400.
