TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Fullerton, California, 92835!

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in the specialty preferred, 2 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC and CEN or CPN preferred Must-Have: High acuity and high volume emergency room experience Must be open to working weekends and must be available to work at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule cycle. Stroke experience is required. Epic experience is highly preferred. Description: High acuity, high volume emergency room with approximately 230 visits per day. Unit has 36 beds with overflow units. Patient ratio is 1:4. Cases include all ages, primarily geriatric and adult patients, with some pediatric patients requiring transport. Common conditions treated include respiratory issues, strokes, abdominal pain, cardiac problems, and sepsis. Experience with stroke and STEMI certifications is mandatory. Limited pediatric experience is acceptable. Familiarity with charting in Epic is highly desired. No trauma experience is necessary. Personnel may need to float between similar units as needed. RTO must be included at the time of application. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. References are required from previous employment. Compliance with dress code is expected.
