Pay & Benefits

• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide solo emergency department coverage during 12-hour shifts
• Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 90-100 patients
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of emergency conditions
• Collaborate with an open ICU and multi-disciplinary team
• Document patient care accurately in Meditech EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and protocols

What You Need

• Valid medical license in North Carolina
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Proven experience in emergency medicine
• Strong assessment, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

About the Assignment

Join a busy community hospital providing essential emergency services to a population of approximately 32,000 annual patients. Physician coverage includes a split schedule with two mid-level providers, and all housing and logistical details are handled on-site. This role offers the flexibility of short-term or long-term engagement while making a meaningful difference in patient care.
