What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency care for approximately 90-100 patients daily in a busy emergency department
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mid-level providers
• Manage open ICU patients and acute cases within Meditech 6.1 electronic medical records system
• Ensure all patient care activities meet hospital standards and protocols
• Document medical records accurately and efficiently
• Engage in clinical decision-making and support patient stabilization
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as required

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license in North Carolina
• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine
• NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• At least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Proficiency in Meditech EMR

Preferred:

• Experience in high-volume ERs
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About the Assignment

This position involves providing essential emergency medical services at a busy hospital in Clinton, NC, with an annual patient volume of approximately 32,000. Coverage includes standard 12-hour solo shifts, focusing on acute patient care in a supportive setting. You will be housed in hospital-owned apartments, with travel costs capped at $500.
