DO;MD - Diagnostic Radiology

Job Details:

• Remote coverage available to help address outpatient study backlog of 800+ studies in queue
• Commitment of close to 30+ hours per week preferred to assist with backlog
• Onsite coverage beginning June 2026, averaging 20 shifts per month per provider
• Multiple providers needed to ensure simultaneous coverage across two locations
• Providers will be required to be cross-credentialed to support coverage across both locations
• Weekday hours: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Weekend hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Interpret general diagnostic radiology studies including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Perform light procedures including fluoroscopy and basic image-guided procedures such as paracentesis and thoracentesis
• Provide timely and accurate reads for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging
• Expected productivity of approximately reads per shift
• Communicate significant findings with ordering providers when appropriate
• Support hospital initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within the radiology systems
• Active Illinois license required; Illinois CSR and DEA required
