Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

CARE Counseling is hiring a PMHNP for medication management in Plymouth, MN. We prefer a minimum of 2 days/week but open to per diem, part-time, or full-time!

In this role, you will:

• Provide psychiatric services, consisting primarily of outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management
• Prescribe, recommend, or discontinue drugs and treatments to treat behavioral health conditions in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement and the state's Nurse Practice Act
• Collaborate with counselors, social workers, or other treatment team members to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation

Requirements:

• ANCC board certified PMHNP in MN
• Active DEA registration
• Ability to practice independently without oversight (Full Practice Authority)
• Reside in the Twin Cities metro with the ability to work onsite in Plymouth
