Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a lasting impact supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech Language Pathologist in Michigan for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Opportunities are available for up to two passionate SLPs to serve students in schools throughout the Flint area, with coverage reaching Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit. Assignments begin August 17 and run through June 11, offering meaningful tenure as a contract provider.

Ideal candidates will be experienced SLPs with their CCC, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFYs) may be considered, especially if they have an established supervisor. Flexibility and comfort working onsite across multiple school buildings is essential. This position supports diverse, urban student populations—candidates may be asked to discuss challenges faced by urban children and strategies to support their families.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan SLP license (pending licensure considered with proof of application)
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFYs with supervisory support welcome
• Experience with K-12 caseloads or educational settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge of AAC systems and best practices for language development
• Ability to travel between school locations as assigned
• Official university transcripts required prior to presentation

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy to eligible students
• Participate in IEP and MET meetings, goal development, and documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff on classroom integration
• Conduct assessments and provide eligibility reports
• Offer in-service training for school staff
• Support AAC device implementation in school and home environments
• Ensure timely records and compliance
