Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting K-12 students in a vibrant urban district in the Flint, MI area for the 2026-2027 school year, with on-site requirements and a 35-hour work week. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students with mild to moderate disabilities, collaborating with educators, support staff, and families to promote each student’s success and well-being.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Current Michigan School Psychologist certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required
• Official university transcripts needed before submission
• Previous experience in school psychology or related agency roles highly preferred
• Familiarity with the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and IDEA Federal Regulations
• Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and resources relevant to students and families in urban settings

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement early identification and intervention strategies for students facing academic, emotional, or social challenges
• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, adaptive, and social-emotional evaluations, to determine eligibility for special education services
• Maintain consistent implementation of special education policies and procedures across all assigned schools
• Communicate findings clearly and compassionately with parents, teachers, and administrators to foster cooperative educational planning
• Collaborate regularly with other support staff and engage in ongoing professional development
• Participate in meetings, in-service trainings, and contribute to a culture of learning and support across buildings
• Additional duties as assigned
