Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification
• Submission of official university transcripts prior to consideration
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in school or agency settings preferred
• Understanding of the unique challenges facing urban youth and familiarity with local and community resources
• Working knowledge of MARSE (Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education) and related federal IDEA regulations
• Strong collaborative skills, particularly in multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent communication for sharing assessment findings and recommendations with families, educators, and administrators

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify academic, social, and emotional needs
• Collaborate in early intervention planning and support consistent implementation of special education policies
• Deliver clear, supportive feedback to families and school staff to enhance educational planning
• Engage in ongoing professional development and in-service training
• Participate in regular team meetings and support the district’s special education initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
