Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity is based onsite in an urban district located within reach of Flint, MI, and surrounding areas, and offers the chance to impact students’ lives from August 2026 through June 2027.

Bring your specialized knowledge to a setting that values early identification and intervention strategies. You’ll collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive environments and facilitate the educational success of approximately 60 students each week.

What We're Looking For:

• Active Michigan (MI) School Psychologist certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification (required)
• Official university transcripts (must be provided prior to consideration)
• Comprehensive understanding of MARSE and IDEA Federal Regulations
• Experience working in K-12 urban schools or similar agency environments highly preferred
• Strong communication skills for sharing psychological findings with families and staff
• Comfort addressing the unique needs and resources of urban children and their communities

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Collaborate on early intervention initiatives and implement individualized education plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Consistently uphold special education policies across all assigned buildings
• Clearly communicate assessment outcomes and recommendations to staff and families
• Demonstrate insight into the challenges faced by students in urban settings
