Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience on each visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including: Planning each shift and monitoring performance during the shift Ensuring the team meets McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare for a smooth shift transition Meeting or exceeding targets during their shifts and helping assigned Departments achieve their goals As a Shift Manager, You May Be Responsible For Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager and should be positive team players with a flexible schedule who thrive in a fast-paced McDonald’s environment.
