Ophthalmic Technician Training Provided Dartmouth, MA, US 8 days ago Requisition ID: 1205 Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.00 Hourly Claris Vision (Eye Health Vision) is currently looking for a full-time technician to join our busy practice. If you have a year of experience in the healthcare field and would like to be an Ophthalmic Technician, we will provide training to transition you into the role. Locations are: Dartmouth, MA - Fall RIver, MA - Taunton, MA and Middletown, RI Duties and Responsibilities Obtain medical and eye history from patients and document information using the EHR system Prepare examination and treatment rooms Perform screening and testing (will train) to prepare the patient for doctor's exam including visual acuity, color vision testing, auto-lensometry, autorefraction, tonometry, Amsler grid, pupil evaluation, and other testing as needed Will train to maintain and calibrate ophthalmic and surgical instruments Must have a clear understanding of company policies including the company manual Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have at least one (1) year of experience working in a Healthcare related field. Education High School Diploma or equivalent required We are willing to provide training. Healthcare / Medical experience preferred but not required.
